The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers continue to discuss a deal that would send Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers to the Clippers. The Celtics have the rights to Rivers’ coaching services, and Garnett has a “no-trade clause” in his contract. Garnett is reportedly willing to waive his no-trade clause, while the Celtics may be willing to part with Rivers and Garnett if the deal is good enough. The Clippers are said to currently be offering DeAndre Jordan and draft compensation. The Celtics want Eric Bledsoe to be included in the trade, but sources say they have begun to show a willingness to accept another trade piece.
