Eric Gordon Being Shopped Around by New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are making Eric Gordon available in trade talks with various NBA teams. Gordon signed a four-year, $58 million deal with the Phoenix Suns last off season. The Pelicans matched the deal and Gordon stayed in New Orleans. Gordon made it public that he was unhappy with the matched deal, and “his heart was in Phoenix”.

 

Oklahoma City Thunder Targeting Alex Len In NBA Draft

The Oklahoma City Thunder are pursuing a Top-5 pick and hope to use it on Alex Len. The Thunder are looking to package their first round picks and Kendrick Perkins to move up in the draft.

 

Houston Rockets Have Had Thomas Robinson Trade Talks With Bulls and Cavaliers

The Houston Rockets have deals on the table to send Thomas Robinson to the Chicago Bulls or Cleveland Cavaliers according to reports. The Cavaliers would send the No. 19 pick of the draft to the Rockets for Robinson, or the Bulls would trade No. 20 pick of the draft. It is believed that the Rockets are trying to move Robinson in order to clear additional cap room to pursue Dwight Howard in free agency.

 

Brooklyn Nets Discuss Trading For C.J. Miles With The Cleveland Cavaliers

The Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers have discussed a trade of C.J. Miles for the No. 22 overall pick. Miles signed last year with Cleveland after playing in Utah previously.

 

Heat Don’t Expect To Use Amnesty On Mike Miller

The Miami Heat do not plan on using their amnesty provision on Mike Miller. Miller did not play much this season, but became a crucial member of their playoff rotation. Due to the tax obligations of the Heat, using the amnesty on Miller would save $14 million next season.

“I like our team, and we don’t like change,” said Pat Riley. “Mike is as healthy as he’s ever been.”

The Milwaukee Bucks have interest in both J.R. Smith and Chris Copeland. The Bucks are in a position to potentially offer bigger contracts to Smith and Copeland than the Knicks would be able to afford.

Brooklyn Nets Make Trade Call To Boston Celtics For Kevin Garnett

The Brooklyn Nets are pursuing a trade for Kevin Garnett. Garnett is reportedly interested in playing for the Nets. Since Garnett has a no trade clause, he is allowed to veto against any trade that comes up. Garnett already approved a prior trade attempt to the Los Angeles Clippers, but due to the terms of the Doc Rivers coaching agreement, no Boston Celtics players may be traded to the Clippers until after next season. 

 

Minnesota Timberwolves Reject Cleveland Cavaliers’ Offer Of No. 1 Pick, Dion Waiters, and Tristan Thompson For Kevin Love

The Cleveland Cavaliers offered the No. 1 overall pick, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love, according to a source. The Wolves rejected the trade offer and hope to build around Love and Ricky Rubio in the future.
