The Cleveland Cavaliers are engaged in trade talks with multiple teams regarding their No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. The Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers have been very interested in trading for the top draft pick. No one has persuaded the Cavaliers to part with the number one overall pick though.

Minnesota Timberwolves Trying To Move Up To Select Victor Oladipo

The Minnesota Timberwolves are attempting to move up in the draft to select Victor Oladipo. The Wolves are believed to be offering Derrick Williams along with their No. 9 and No. 26 picks to put themselves into a position to select Oladipo.

Orlando Magic Prepared To Select Nerlens Noel At No. 2 If Cavaliers Pass On Him

The Orlando Magic are prepared to select Nerlens Noel with their second overall pick if the Cleveland Cavaliers pass on him with the No. 1 overall draft pick. The Cavaliers are reportedly undecided on whether to select Noel and are leaning towards selecting Alex Len. ”If the draft was held today, Noel would be our first choice,” one source from the Magic told ESPN.

The Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves are discussing a trade involving MarShon Brooks. The Nets desire a solid backup point guard, and the Wolves have several available in JJ Barea and Luke Ridnour. The Wolves are believed to be targeting perimeter shooters.
